Governor Baker at the State of the Commonwealth

On Tuesday, January 23, 2018, Governor Charlie Baker will address a joint session of the Massachusetts House and Senate assembled in the House Chamber. The State of the Commonwealth address is customarily an opportunity for the governor to update legislators and residents of Massachusetts on the administration’s progress on key policy areas and set out plans for the coming year.

We are livestreaming this year's State of the Commonwealth address for the first time on Mass.gov.

Members of the public interested in viewing the State of the Commonwealth at the State House in Boston may view the speech on monitors in the Great Hall. Guests can enter via the Ashburton Park entrance on Bowdoin Street or the General Hooker entrance on Beacon Street. Guests must also be seated by 6PM. Please allow adequate time to clear security.
