WHEREAS, it is desired to expand the membership of the Advisory Council on Vocational and Technical Education;

NOW, THEREFORE, I, Francis W. Sargent, Governor of the Commonwealth, by virtue of the authority vested in me as supreme executive magistrate, do hereby order as follows:

  1. Executive Order No. 66 is hereby amended by striking the first sentence of the paragraph numbered "2" and inserting in place thereof the following new sentence:--

The Council shall be composed of twenty-four members each of whom shall be appointed to a term of three years by the Governor except that of the initial twenty-three members appointed by the Governor, eight shall be appointed to terms of three years, eight shall be appointed to terms of two years and seven shall be appointed to terms of one year; and provided that the initial appointment to the twenty-fourth membership shall expire on March 20, 1973.

Given at the Executive,Chamber in Boston this first day of April in the year of Our Lord one thousand nine hundred and seventy- one and of the Independence of the United States of America, one hundred and ninety-fifth.
