All Local Housing Agencies administering the
Massachusetts Rental Voucher Program (MRVP)
FROM: Carole E.
Collins, Director
Bureau of Housing

SUBJECT: Revised MRVP Income Limits for Determination of
Eligibility and Continued Occupancy
DATE: March
5, 2007
Enclosed please find the revised Income Limits for the determination of
Eligibility and Continued Occupancy for the Massachusetts Rental Voucher
Program (MRVP). These limits are effective April 1, 2007.
As you know, the MRVP income limits are based on 200% of the Federal Poverty
Level adjusted for household size. The Federal Department of Health and
Human Services (DHHS) has published the new Federal Poverty Level Guidelines in
the January 24, 2007 Federal Register, which are the basis for the revised
income limits.
Local Housing Agencies must adopt the revised MRVP net income limits as shown
on the enclosed chart. The Board’s vote should be household size specific
for all sizes, as shown. Once a vote has been taken, please submit a copy
to DHCD.
Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Charlie Vasiliades at (617) 573-1236.
