What you need

To become a certified LAR attorney, you'll first need to view the LAR video recording training and carefully review the LAR written training materials. Materials are available at http://massprobono.org/library/folder.503082-Limited_Assistance_Representation

Then, you'll need to complete the Limited Assistance Representation Attorney Statement of Qualification. There are 3 ways you can submit the statement.

If you want to be included on a Limited Assistance Representation Attorney Listing maintained in the court divisions and posted on our website, please also complete the Limited Assistance Representation (LAR) Attorney Listing Information [Form] and return it to the Administrative Office of the Probate and Family Court. Only complete and submit this form if you want to be included on a public list of LAR qualified attorneys.
