Applications are due on March 12, 2018. Decisions are announced in May 2018.

What you need for Apply to become an Exhibitor

This application is for indoor booth space for the entire 17 days of the fair or for porch booth space for 1 to 17 days of the fair. You will be able to indicate on the application which type space you are applying for. The building is open to the public from 10 AM to 9 PM daily and booths must be staffed at all times.

To apply to be an exhibitor, you need to provide proof that your business or non-profit is conducting business and registered in the State of Massachusetts.
Acceptable forms of proof include:
  • Certificate of Good Standing from the Secretary of the Commonwealth’s office.
  • Business certificate from the city/town in which you are registered.
  • Non-profit documentation such as 501(c)(3) status or other non-profit designation.
Important to know before applying:
  • Products and services must be either grown, produced, or manufactured in Massachusetts.
  • Products and services sold in the building must be available commercially online or in-store year round.
  • A deposit of $100 is required with the application. If you are not accepted as an exhibitor, it will be returned. If you are accepted as an exhibitor, it will be deducted from your booth rental fee.
If accepted:
  • Exhibitors must enter into a license agreement (contract) with MDAR outlining the rental agreements.
  • Rental fee (minus the $100 deposit) is due by the last day of the fair. Any payments made after the fair will be assessed a $25 per day late fee.
  • All exhibitors must provide insurance coverage. More information on insurance requirements can be found in the Exhibitor Guidelines.

A fully completed application (including proof that your business/non-profit is Massachusetts based and a $100 deposit) must be received no later than 4:00 PM on Monday, March 12.

    Next steps for Apply to become an Exhibitor

    1. Mail supporting materials and deposit

      Don’t forget to mail your $100 deposit and proof of Massachusetts business/non-profit. Submitted applications will not be deemed complete until the deposit is received.

    2. New applicants

      If you are a new applicant, you are required to attend New Applicant Presentation Day. This event allows new applicants to present their product(s) to the Advisory Committee which reviews all applications. After submitting your application, additional information about New Applicant Presentation Day will be emailed to you. This year’s New Applicant Presentation Day is on March 28, 2018 (snow date: March 30, 2018).
