What you need for Submit a nomination for the Correctional Employee of the Year Awards
All nominations must be for outstanding acts of bravery performed by a member (or members) of your department between January 1, 2023 through December 31, 2023, following the guidelines available.
The Selection Committee will require a detailed narrative of the incident for which your member is being nominated, along with news clippings or any substantiating information you feel will assist the selection committee with its decision.
Please review the Criteria Form for Correctional Employee of the Year Awards before submitting nominations as candidates are selected carefully. In an effort to preserve the prestigious nature of the ceremony, the Selection Committee has decided to recognize Meritorious Recognition, Medal of Honor, and Medal of Valor recipients.
