Appeals from State Agency Decisions

Find out when and how to file an appeal from an agency decision in court.

You may appeal a state agency’s decision by filing a complaint for judicial review, but only after you follow the review process offered within the agency.

Many, but not all, complaints for judicial review are heard in the Superior Court. This information outlines appeals in Superior Court. To be sure, check with the agency involved to find out whether this or a different procedure is the one to follow.
