The DPU will conduct a technical conference regarding D.P.U. 17-146 on energy storage. The purpose of the technical conference is to engage interested persons in a discussion that identifies the:

technical requirements of energy storage systems paired with net metering facilities; and
the process to certify and enforce customer compliance for energy storage systems paired with net metering facilities.

DPU staff does not intend to discuss policy questions during the technical conference. DPU staff will not address issues regarding qualification and bidding of certain net metering facilities in the forward capacity market at the January 31, 2018 technical conference.
