How to request   Request sex offender registry information (SORI)

  • Submitting requests via the ESORI Portal requires specific information such as FIRST NAME, LAST NAME and DATE of BIRTH
  • If the specific information is not available, contact the ESORI Portal Help line at 978-740-6478 for assistance
  •  If you are a victim and you need assistance with obtaining information, please contact SOR’s Victim Services Unit 978-740-6440

You can request sex offender information at your local city or town police station. You’ll need to:

  • Bring valid I.D

  • Fill out a sex offender request form

  • Give your name, address, and reason for your request

Through this form you can find out if a specific person is a sex offender (either by name, or by identifying information).

You can also find out if any sex offenders live, work or study:

  • in a specific city or town

  • at a specific street address (the address must be in the same city or town as the police department)

  • in a specific area code

Members of the public can only access information about Level 2 and Level 3 offenders.

The online database only has information for Level 2 offenders classified after July 12, 2013, and Level 3 offenders. For a complete list of Level 2 offenders, contact your local police department.
