News  OIG Offers Second Online Training

Fraud Awareness and Prevention in the Workplace

The Office of the Inspector General (OIG) is pleased to offer its second free, online training for state and municipal employees. The training, “Fraud Awareness and Prevention in the Workplace,” provides a basic overview on identifying and preventing workplace fraud. Using examples of workplace fraud, the video discusses theft, procurement fraud and other misconduct to outline techniques to detect and prevent fraud in the workplace. The fraud video, as well as the OIG’s original online training, “Overview of Chapter 30B - the Uniform Procurement Act,” can be viewed on the OIG YouTube channel.
