The Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Operational Services Division (OSD), is providing the following information for all Executive Department buyers and other Eligible Entities in response to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and the Commonwealth’s need for certain personal protective equipment (PPE) to help mitigate the impact of the virus.

DESE K-12 Health Safety Supply/PPE Program
Through a joint venture with the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the Operational Services Division is pleased to announce the launch of the DESE K-12 Health Safety Supply/PPE Program, set up to facilitate the purchase of safety/PPE supplies for school reopening.
PLEASE NOTE: Though the intended audience for these resources is schools, all organizations eligible to use SWCs may use them. Learn more.
School Building Design and Operations Consulting Services
The Facilities and Operations Technical Assistance Services category through PRF61 provides a selection of vendors with extensive experience in school facilities space planning, design, and assessment, including HVAC. Although these services were targeted to schools, all buyers have access to these consulting services. Link here for more information.
During the course of the COVID-19 crisis, OSD provided guidance to Executive Departments and other eligible entities regarding the availability and ordering processes for PPE items.
