This five-week, self-paced class is tailored to public employees involved in the design and construction of public buildings and public works.

The online class will cover practical applications and effective strategies for procuring and administering design and construction contracts. It will incorporate knowledge checks, lesson quizzes, and ends with a multiple-choice exam.

  • Prerequisite: Completion of Public Contracting Overview is strongly recommended, but not required.

  • Cost: $695
  • This class is one of the three classes required to earn the MCPPO Designation. Once you complete all three classes, to receive your designation, please submit the MCPPO designation application.
  • Registration closes two weeks before the class starts.
  • Blackboard® or other virtual platform login details will be emailed to registrants.
