The MCAD training team is now offering live, interactive, virtual training seminars for the public.

The MCAD training team is excited to work with your organization to meet your training needs. Bring MCAD trainings directly to your remote workers, and together we can work to eradicate discrimination before it starts.

MCAD Virtual Anti-Discrimination Courses

The MCAD offers training courses on a number of anti-discrimination topics, ranging from 90-min refresher courses, to ½-day and full-day trainings.

Pricing

Pricing varies by number of participants, starting at $250 for a 3-hour training. There is no minimum or maximum number of participants required to participate in a training.

System Requirements

The MCAD uses Zoom to conduct our live virtual trainings. Zoom is free for participants to download and use. Participants are expected to adhere to the following for the entirety of the training:

  • Be on camera
  • Have access to a microphone (either through their computer or their phone)
  • Have reliable internet access
  • Have a reliable power supply

 

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Does live virtual training satisfy an MCAD settlement agreement or Hearing Decision training requirement?

If participants are attending a live virtual training pursuant to a settlement agreement or hearing decision, live virtual training can fulfill the requirements of the hearing decision or settlement agreement.  

Can I book an in-person course for my organization?

Due to COVID-19 social distancing guidelines, the MCAD is not currently holding in-person courses at our offices or providing private on-site in-person training. However, we would be happy to schedule a course for a future date when social distancing guidelines have expired. Is there a difference in content covered during in-person courses and live virtual training courses?

Training content covered in live virtual training is the same as content covered in our in-person courses.
