Associate General Counsel

The Associate General Counsel will assist the General Counsel in:  managing the legal operations of the Commission; advising Commission personnel regarding relevant legal and policy matters; contributing to the development of regulations, policies, and protocols; ensuring the Commission’s compliance with applicable laws; training personnel regarding legal requirements; and representing the Commission before other bodies, and in working with other governmental bodies, stakeholders, and members of the public.

Business Analyst

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding POSTC’s services framework and business requirements and you must be capable of communicating these business needs between POSTC leadership and technical teams. The Business Analyst will work with the team’s Product Manager to design and document business processes based on the needs of POSTC’s operational staff and be an advocate for a high-quality user experience for all user types. This position will align technology solutions with business needs, coordinate across relevant technical and non-technical teams, and continuously review business needs to refine priorities and outline milestones as well as identify opportunities and risks for various end-users. This position will support any relevant technology procurements for POSTC, by conducting market research and participating in scoring and evaluations.

Enforcement Counsel

The Enforcement Counsel will work within the Division of Standards and assist the Director of Standards and other employees of the Division in all duties relative to the intake of complaints, investigation of complaints, and case management.  The Division conducts investigations in a confidential, fair, and impartial manner, according to standard policies and procedures, to ensure adherence to statutory requirements and compliance with regulations and standards set forth by the Commission for certified police officers in the Commonwealth.

Product Manager

The Product Manager will coordinate with business and technology stakeholders to deliver a user-centered product using agile methodologies and modern software development practices while building capacity for product innovation in government. POST will rely on this position to surface key decisions impacting the development of its software application and drive their resolution; the Product Manager will analyze the tradeoffs with respect to business goals of different possible solutions and make recommendations to POST leadership about how to proceed. The Product Manager will work closely with POST business and technical leads to ensure alignment across the Commission.
