HOLIDAY SHOPPING REMINDERS FOR STORES

Help stop the surge with safe store practices for shoppers

  • Offer curbside pickup when possible
  • Follow in-store capacity limits - 25% of building’s maximum capacity, excluding staff (effective 12/26/2020)
  • Offer appointment-based shopping
  • Sanitize between checkouts 
  • Use distance markings and reminders near registers and line areas
  • Place signage reminding about mask mandates on entrances and throughout the store

COVID-19 HOLIDAY TRAVEL REMINDERS

Postponing holiday travel is highly recommended. If traveling, you must follow the Massachusetts Travel Order.

You MUST

  • Quarantine for 10 days following your travel outside of Massachusetts OR
  • Obtain a negative COVID-19 test following your travel*

Strongly encouraged

  • 10 days before travel/gatherings, minimize contact with others and wear a mask at all times for essential trips
  • Quarantine for 10 days regardless of test result for assurance

* A negative test only represents a moment in time. Keep loved ones safe and quarantine following holiday travel for best protection against spreading COVID-19
