MRC Transition Services For Students and Youth

If you are 16 and older, MRC has many services to help you prepare for work, get a job, gain leadership skills and live on your own.

As you think about transitioning out of high school, you might be thinking about getting a job. MRC offers supports around job preparation for students 16 and older while still in high school. By working with a vocational rehabilitation counselor you can get connected to a training program, an assessment, assistive technology or even a paid job. You can also gain leadership skills and participate in an internship program through our Independent Living Centers. Our services focus on the importance of self-advocacy and help you live more independently. We partner with schools, families, and other state agencies to support your transition plan to a job or further education.
