What you need to know

The Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) is pleased to announce that our standard construction specifications for projects procured under Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 149 and Chapter 149A (CM at Risk projects) have been revised.

When will the revised standard specifications (v.8) take effect?

January 2, 2018.  Study or schematic design phase work that is initiated after this date shall utilize the new v.8.  Projects that are already performing schematic design work as of the effective date may continue to use the prior version, unless directed otherwise by DCAMM.

How can I access the revised standard specifications (v.8)?

DCAMM project staff will provide project designers, working on DCAMM projects a copy of v.8. State agencies will be provided access to v.8 upon written request.
