BOSTONThe Massachusetts Health Policy Commission (HPC) today announced the membership list for the 2023-2024 term of the HPC Advisory Council. The new term membership includes 34 members, 10 of whom are new additions. The goal of the Advisory Council is to enhance the HPC’s robust policy agenda through discussion of the issues facing the Massachusetts health care market. These public meetings provide an opportunity for open dialogue and engagement among a cross-section group of health care industry stakeholders and policymakers which informs the work of the agency.

“The HPC has set an ambitious agenda for 2023, and the members of the Advisory Council are important partners in implementing this work, especially in the critical areas of addressing the needs of the health care workforce and eliminating health disparities,” said David Seltz, HPC Executive Director. “I am excited to convene this group and further our efforts to advance equitable access and affordability for residents and businesses while grappling with the significant challenges facing the system.”

Advisory Council membership lasts for two years, and the new term runs until December 31, 2024. The HPC Advisory Council is scheduled to meet quarterly, from 12:00 – 1:30 PM. The 2023 meetings will take place on the following dates:

  • Wednesday, February 8
  • Wednesday, May 24
  • Wednesday, September 20
  • Wednesday, December 6
