Smoke Alarms and Batteries

When Daylight Savings Time ends on November 5 and you change your clock, please also remember to change the batteries in your smoke alarms (unless they have a 10-year lithium battery). It’s also a good time to check the batteries in your carbon monoxide alarms and replace them or the carbon monoxide alarm if they or have reached the end of their lives.

Also included in this month’s Briefs are information on our public awareness campaigns, upcoming training opportunities, and public safety information.

Please be sure to avail yourself to all of the important information contained in the November DFS Briefs.
