Save the Date – The 28th Annual Firefighter of the Year Awards will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Mechanics Hall in Worcester, MA. The awards will honor outstanding acts of heroism and bravery as well as community service by Massachusetts firefighters.

October 8-14, 2017 is Fire Prevention Week and this year’s theme is “Every Second Counts: Plan 2 Ways Out!” which reinforces why everyone needs to have an escape plan.

Also included in this month’s Briefs we are announcing our newly implemented drone service with a flyer on services offered and how to request them. Also included are several training opportunities and public safety information on candle and cooking safety.
