PITTSFIELD — A Pittsfield man pleaded guilty this afternoon in Berkshire Superior Court to firearm charges. 40 year old JEREMY A. PAUL a/k/a COUNTRY appeared before Judge Daniel Ford.
PAUL pleaded guilty to two (2) counts of ILLEGAL OWNERSHIP OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN, one (1) count of POSSESSION OF AMMUNITION WITHOUT A FIREARM IDENTIFICATION CARD and two (2) counts of IMPROPER STORAGE OF A FIREARM, RIFLE OR SHOTGUN. Judge Ford ordered that he serve concurrent 18 month sentences to the Berkshire County House of Correction.
The charges stem from the execution of a search warrant at his Linden Street home on April 28, 2017.
One (1) count of ARMED CAREER FELON was dismissed at the request of the Commonwealth.
The investigation was conducted by members of the Pittsfield Police Department.
