Brockton RMV Service CenterBrockton - Monday, July 17, 2017 - The Baker-Polito Administration’s Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) today completed its remodeling of the Brockton Service Center after an eight month, two-phase redesign plan to enhance customer service.


The remodeled Service Center exemplifies the Baker-Polito Administration’s focus on customer service and offers a larger facility with 11,282 square feet (from 6,400 square feet). There are two (2) Greeter and Registration-only counters and 12 upgraded workstations for improved customer privacy and conducting multiple transactions in an efficient and timely manner.


Service Center improvements include the following:

  • New equipment for faster processing of Driver Licenses and Identification Cards
  • ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant design
  • Efficient customer queuing system with expanded public seating
  • Three (3) Hearing offices
  • Dedicated space for self-service transactions
  • Upgraded training facility for continuous staff improvement and skill development
  • LED lighting, which lasts longer, conserves energy and provides more natural lighting
  • New energy efficient windows and upgraded HVAC system, resulting in improved air quality for a more comfortable customer experience


An official grand opening will be held in September.
