Brockton - Monday, July 17, 2017 - The Baker-Polito Administration\u2019s Registry of Motor Vehicles (RMV) today completed its remodeling of the Brockton Service Center after an eight month, two-phase redesign plan to enhance customer service.\n\n\u00a0\n\nThe remodeled Service Center exemplifies the Baker-Polito Administration\u2019s focus on customer service and offers a larger facility with 11,282 square feet (from 6,400 square feet). There are two (2) Greeter and Registration-only counters and 12 upgraded workstations for improved customer privacy and conducting multiple transactions in an efficient and timely manner. \n\n\u00a0\n\nService Center improvements include the following:\n\nNew equipment for faster processing of Driver Licenses and Identification Cards \n\tADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant design\n\tEfficient customer queuing system with expanded public seating\n\tThree (3) Hearing offices\n\tDedicated space for self-service transactions\n\tUpgraded training facility for continuous staff improvement and skill development\n\tLED lighting, which lasts longer, conserves energy and provides more natural lighting\n\tNew energy efficient windows and upgraded HVAC system, resulting in improved air quality for a more comfortable customer experience\n\u00a0\n\nAn official grand opening will be held in September. \n\n\u00a0\n\nFor more Registry information, visit www.MassRMV.com.
