Jack Keleher

Director of Small Projects

Jack Keleher joined the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in 2010 as general counsel, supporting the energy team.  In November 2015 he was named director of a newly formed Small Projects Team, dedicated to accomplishing straightforward repair and replacement projects (generally $10m and under) on an expedited timeline.  Jack has a combination of engineering and legal experience that is of great help to DCAMM.

Jack started his career as an officer in the Army Corps of Engineers, deploying to Bosnia-Herzegovina as a platoon leader in 1996, performing various missions such as mine clearing, bunker destruction, and hasty construction/demolition projects.  After serving in the military, he attended law school and worked in construction litigation, first in New London, CT and then in Boston.  He worked as an attorney on major projects such as Hurricane Katrina disaster recovery and a few projects in the downtown Boston area.

Jack holds a bachelor’s in civil engineering from the United States Military Academy and a juris doctor from the University of Connecticut School of Law.
