Natalie Sawyer serves as General Counsel to the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM), providing legal advice and assistance to the agency with respect to, inter alia, real estate acquisitions, dispositions, contracts, claims and disputes. Prior to joining DCAMM, Ms. Sawyer spent over 15 years practicing in both the private and public sectors, at a mid-sized law firm in Boston and the United States Bankruptcy Court, District of Massachusetts; including representation of contractors, developers, community residents and other parties-in-interest in real estate transactions, contractual disputes and financial restructuring.
Ms. Sawyer is active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Asian American Lawyers Association of Massachusetts, the Boston Bar Association and the International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation. Ms. Sawyer also serves as a member of the Local Rules Committee and the Diversity Task Force for the United States Bankruptcy Court, and the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Weston.
Ms. Sawyer holds a B.A., J.D. and LL.M. from Boston University and was the Editor-in-Chief of the Annual Review of Banking & Financial Law.
