This regulation requires that home care agencies that contract with state agencies and provide direct care to clients in a home-based setting, ensure that home care agency workers have received the COVID-19 vaccination no later than October 31, 2021. It also requires that certain non-agency based home care workers receive the COVID-19 vaccination no later than October 31, 2021. The purpose of this regulation is to strengthen infection control among home care workers to protect vulnerable individuals.
