Town reports include descriptions of important species, natural communities, and coarse filter elements within specifics town and their surrounding areas.

These reports are intended to be useable as stand-alone documents containing all the necessary information to understand the biodiversity of your town. However, additional information can be accessed when they are used as electronic documents. For example, the electronic versions of the Town Reports contain hyperlinks to fact sheets for the various elements of biodiversity in the town, and using the Town Reports in conjunction with the BioMap2 Interactive Map provides the ability to zoom to specific areas, turn the different GIS layers on and off, and to obtain the Core Habitat and Critical Natural Landscape numbers with a click of the mouse.
To access electronic (.pdf) versions of the Town Reports, simply click on the links below. Please note the towns of Chelsea and Brookline do not contain BioMap2 elements of biodiversity, and therefore are not included in the Town Reports.
