Call Before You Cut

The Call Before You Cut Program is an outreach effort to provide Massachusetts landowners with the information that they need to make educated decisions about their woodlands.

Woodlands take decades to grow, but can be destroyed in just a few days of poorly conducted cutting. The Call Before You Cut Program is an outreach effort to provide Massachusetts landowners with the information that they need to make educated decisions about their woodlands. Making an informed decision will allow you to achieve your long-term wildlife, timber production, aesthetic, and recreational goals in a way that protects and enhances the value of your property. The decision to cut trees on your property is an important one, don't be rushed into a bad decision.
