More about:

Child care subsidy management

The Department of Early Education and Care (EEC) is the lead agency for administering the Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) in Massachusetts.

EEC sets the requirements for eligibility, authorization, provision, termination, and payment, of child care financial assistance to children and families through subsidized child care programs. Through the child care financial assistance regulations and policies, EEC aims to create an integrated system of child care that ensures the seamless delivery of quality, accessible, and affordable child care for children from birth through school age; standardize eligibility requirements and intake procedures for families; and administer consistent procurement and payment policies and procedures.
