A Report on the Statewide Availability of Health Care Providers Serving Patients with Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness

The interactive map below displays the inventory of providers completed for the report, “Co-occurring Disorders Care in Massachusetts: A Report on the Statewide Availability of Health Care Providers Serving Patients with Co-Occurring Substance Use Disorder and Mental Illness,” published in May 2019.

This map illustrates the location of 184 provider facility sites that are licensed to provide services to patients with both mental health and substance use disorder. The map includes filters that allow the user to search by type of provider, whether the site serves adolescent patients, and services provided.

This inventory was developed with the use of licensing data from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s (DPH) Bureaus of Health Care Safety and Quality and Substance Addiction Services, and the Department of Mental Health (DMH). The data are based on facilities licensed to operate as of March 2018, with additional input provided by DPH and DMH staff prior to publication.
