If you are a licensed Advanced Practice Registered Nurse, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse in another state and seek to practice in Massachusetts during the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency, click here to apply for a temporary license. Nursing temporary licenses granted under the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency will expire on June 30, 2022.
In accordance with COVID-19 Public Health Emergency Order No. 2021-6, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses, Registered Nurses, and Licensed Practical Nurses whose license has expired may reactivate their license for the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. This reactivation has no fee and you will not need to meet reactivation requirements. The reactivation will expire on June 30, 2022. To take this action, click here.
