The Economic Empowerment Trust Fund (EETF) was created pursuant to Section 31 of Chapter 46 of the Acts of 2015. It represents an expansion of the missions of the Financial Literacy Trust Fund and the Commonwealth Covenant Fund, both of which were recognized as 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations. Funding for the Trust Fund comes from grant funding and charitable/private contributions.
The EETF Board is led by Treasurer and Receiver General Deborah B. Goldberg and is comprised of members of executive and constitutional offices, public servants, and leaders in business and education.
