Employment Opportunities - Police Profession

Periodically, the MPTC is contacted by police departments across the Commonwealth who are hiring entry-level patrol officers.

The MPTC does not advertise law enforcement employment opportunities outside the state of Massachusetts.

What You Should Know

• Please refer to 550 CMR §3.03 (3) which states "any graduate from a police academy who does not become employed as a police officer within two years must re-attend a police academy prior to exercising police powers."
• Please do not contact the MPTC and do not expect to receive updates from the MPTC.
• You are encouraged to continue to actively solicit employment and to rely on these announcements as only one part of that effort.
