Assuming that you have met both of MCB's criteria for services (1. legal blindness and 2. residence in MA); your eye care provider will submit the result of the eye examination to the MCB Registration Department.
The Report will be reviewed and eligibility will be determined.
A Letter of Determination of Eligibility will be sent to both the patient and his/her eye care provider.
Once the patient is registered with MCB, a member of the MCB staff will contact the registrant soon thereafter for a complete explanation of available services that are offered by MCB.
