Furbearer check stations are generally operational from November – April. Actual checking hours or days may vary by station. Be sure to call ahead before bringing pelts in for sealing.

  • Bobcat, coyote, fisher, fox, mink, river otter, and beaver pelts must be reported (sealed) within 4 working days from the end of the season for each species.
  • Bobcat and otter cannot be reported online and must be reported at a physical furbearer check station (listed below).
  • Coyote, fisher, fox, mink, and beaver may be reported online through the MassFishHunt system.
  • Coyotes may be reported at some other game check stations—go to the check station Map and click on the Coyote tab.
  • Harvest reporting is not required for weasel, raccoon, opossum, skunk or muskrat.
