There are no open funding or grant opportunities for fiscal year 2018.

 

FY18 Early Education and Out of School Time Capital Fund (CLOSED)

The program awards grants, of up to one million dollars ($1,000,000), to large group early education and out of school time programs for major capital building projects. The Secretary of Administration and Finance has authorized $3,600,000 dollars to be awarded by June 30, 2018. All programs wishing to file a Pre-Application must be registered on COMMBUYS. 

Submit your pre-application to EEC by 4 p.m. on Monday, October 30, 2017. Qualified applicants will be invited to submit full applications in JANUARY, 2018.

You can directly access all of the pre-application and application materials for this grant on the COMMBUYS website.  You do not need to register to view the documents, only to submit a pre-application or application.  For reference the Bid number on CommBuys is: BD-18-1037-1CEN0-C0000-19991.

FY 2018 Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant – Saugus only: fund code 237 (CLOSED)

The purpose of the FY 2018 Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Grant is to provide families with access to services and supports that strengthen families, promote optimal child development, and bolster school readiness. Through this application, EEC may award one grant to a vendor who provides such services in the town of Saugus.

Saugus is the only official Massachusetts town that remains un-served as a result of the initial FY2018 CFCE competitive bid.

Submit your responses to the Grant application to EEC by 4:00 PM on July 25th, 2017.

The purpose of the FY 2018 Coordinated Family and Community Engagement (CFCE) Grant is to provide families with access to services and supports that strengthen families, promote optimal child development, and bolster school readiness.

Submit your responses to the FY 2018 CFCE Grant Application (RFR) to EEC by 4:00 PM on May 8, 2017.

FY 2018 Head Start State Supplemental Grant: fund code 390 (CLOSED)

The purpose of the Massachusetts Head Start State Supplemental Grant is to:

  • Support child development staff’s salary, compensation, and benefits.
  • Support staff that has achieved a credential or a degree in the Early Childhood field.
  • Encourage staff to increase their competencies and earn a credential or a degree in the Early Childhood field or related Human Services field.
  • Direct workforce development support to classrooms, family child care homes, and home-based settings.
  • Provide professional development opportunities that support staff in improving knowledge, competencies, and skills.
  • Assist staff to meet the professional development requirements in MA Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS).
  • Direct support for non-Federal matching funds for Head Start and Early Head Start grantees to meet their 20% Federal Head Start funding requirements.
