The FY2019 Reach Out and Read (ROR) Grant will support the statewide implementation of the ROR evidence-based model that promotes early literacy and school readiness in pediatric exam rooms by giving new, developmentally and culturally appropriate children’s books to children and advice to parents about the importance of reading aloud.

Who can apply

This grant opportunity is open to Reach Out and Read (ROR), a nonprofit organization that gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. ROR must be able to demonstrate through the submission of a successful grant application that they are able to meet the priorities and required services as outlined in this grant application.
