The QRIS Durable Goods Improvement Grant offers an award of durable goods to eligible early education and care and afterschool/out-of-school time programs. Research from the QRIS Validation Study and Wellesley College’s site visit observations suggest that the types of durable goods available through this grant opportunity can make an immediate and significant impact on program quality. EEC offers this grant to provide selected Applicants with MA QRIS-linked durable goods through an online portal offered by Kaplan Early Learning Company. These items will be shipped directly to each Applicant; no expenditure of program/educator funds or reimbursement will be required.

This is a competitive grant open to all vendors that are able to demonstrate through the submission of a successful grant application that they meet the priorities and required services as outlined in this grant application.
Eligibility requirements
This is a competitive grant open to EEC-licensed family, group or school age child care programs and license-exempt public school-based preschool or out-of-school time programs that are participating in the Massachusetts Quality Rating and Improvement System (MA QRIS).
