General Laws c. 211A, § 13, authorizes the Appeals Court, subject to the approval of the Supreme Judicial Court, to adopt rules regulating the "practices, procedures and internal administration of the appeals court." The Appeals Court invites public comments on the proposed adoption of Appeals Court Rule 32.0, Access to Electronic Case Information and Court Records. The rule is intended to identify, clarify, and govern the Appeals Court's practices of posting for public remote electronic access certain case information and electronic court records to the appellate courts' website. The Appeals Court welcomes all comments on the proposed rule.
