Last Mile Infrastructure Grant

Last Mile grants assist towns with broadband projects

The Last Mile Infrastructure Grant program provides funding for eligible towns for municipally-owned broadband networks. Towns can use these grants for design, engineering and construction services.

The Executive Office of Housing and Economic Development (EOHED) administers the Last Mile Program. The amount of a town’s grant will be based upon allocations established as part of the Massachusetts Broadband Institute (MBI) Last Mile program. Awards will include both professional and construction allocations. These grants are meant to supplement the town’s financial contribution.

A town interested in applying for funding requests an application from the EOHED. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis.
