MCPPO Online Class Technical Specifications

The OIG Massachusetts Certified Public Purchasing Official program will be offering classes online. You will need to meet certain technical requirements to complete online classes.

Our MCPPO classes will be online because of our commitment to public health and safety. Please check our registration form and website for schedule updates.

We will present some classes as one, two, three or four-day webinars using Blackboard®, an online learning platform, or another virtual platform. Homework may be assigned to satisfy credit requirements. If an exam is required, you will have at least one day to access the exam on Blackboard. We send Blackboard or other virtual platform login information to your email address two business days before a class starts.

Supplies and Services Contracting will be presented as a five-week self-paced class. Real Property Transactions Under M.G.L. c. 30B will be presented as a five-week self-paced class. Some MCPPO Designation Renewal classes will be presented as both a self-paced class and an online webinar.

Technical assistance will be available through help desks operated by the OIG, the online division of the University of Massachusetts and Blackboard, Inc.
