FY 2014 NRD Program Annual Report

NRD settlements fund projects to:

  • restore rivers, wetlands, and floodplains

  • protect land for wildlife and water supplies

  • create public access to and use of fresh and coastal waters

The NRD Program Annual Reports feature examples of how involving the public in planning for and implementing restoration leads to success.

Restoration benefits the Commonwealth’s wildlife and habitat. It also benefits its citizens who rely on these resources for their health, livelihood and recreation.
