Project Description

Intern(s) will extract and enter confidential legal, demographic and medical information about surrogate births into a new tracking system in development. The intern(s) will assist in defining requirements, evaluating data quality, and will work with the developer to enhance the tracking system. Upon completion of the system and data entry, the intern(s) will have the opportunity to perform analysis of the data in collaboration with the Registry to develop informational report(s) and to provide recommendations for improvements in the collection of such data.


  • At least the minimum age required by Federal, state or local laws and employment standards
  • A U.S. citizen, or appropriate employment authorization documentation
  • A student enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a degree-seeking student
  • Able to produce a letter of verification from your educational institution showing proof of enrollment
  • Experience with Microsoft Access is preferred.
  • Experience in report-writing is preferred.

Preferred Time Commitment: 10-20 hours per week (negotiable based on credit requirements).
