The project will replace the existing District Court located at 1 Dennis Ryan Parkway in Quincy with a new Justice Center equipped with modern court facilities for District, Juvenile, and Housing Courts with expanded public amenities and additional space for court support functions including Jury rooms, District Attorney offices, and Court Service Center.
The new facility will accommodate the necessary courtrooms, hearing rooms and mediation spaces. There will be separate and secure circulation for judges, public, and detainees. The courthouse will be designed to meet the current and future demands for office spaces, transaction areas, public accommodations, and attorney-client spaces.
Property acquisition for the new courthouse and coordination of parking needs with the City are in progress.
