Map of 5 regions

To meet MassBays’ mission and the goals of the Comprehensive Conservation Management Plan, MassBays has dedicated coordinators in  five regions: Upper North Shore, Lower North Shore, Metro Boston, South Shore, and Cape Cod.

The Regional Coordinators are hosted by a wide range of academic, nonprofit and planning organizations including: Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (Upper North Shore), Salem Sound Coastwatch (Lower North Shore), Northeastern University Marine Science Center (Metro Boston), North and South Rivers Watershed Association (South Shore), and Association to Preserve Cape Cod (Cape Cod).

Regional coordinators respond to local needs, convene stakeholders and decision makers, provide technical and hands-on assistance, and conduct education and outreach to engage volunteers and inform citizens. To learn more about the regions, their geography, and the many  activities underway led and supported by our regional coordinators click on the regions below.
