SSP clients who receive federal SSI payments from the Social Security Administration (SSA) should notify SSA of any changes to their case, including address, phone number, income, and payment method, in accordance with SSA program rules. SSA notifies SSP on a daily basis of any changes to SSI cases. Clients who receive a payment only from the state should contact the SSP Client Assistance Line at 1-877-863-1128 to report or request any changes.
However, all SSP clients should report to SSP directly any changes in living situation, such as number of household members, living expenses incurred and paid, and admission into or discharge from a facility. These changes may impact a client’s State Living Arrangement determination.
Any change in a client’s circumstances that may affect eligibility for SSP or the amount of SSP payments must be reported within ten (10) days, for example: earned, unearned, or one-time income; address; household members; resources.

Contact the SSP Client Assistance Line at 1-877-863-1128 to request a form be sent to you, to ask where to send information about a change, or for assistance filling out a form.
When sending information to SSP, please include your Client ID on every page of documentation. Call the SSP Client Assistance Line if you do not know your Client ID.
