Request an SSP benefit verification letter

SSP clients, payees, and authorized entities and individuals may request a written statement of the client’s SSP benefit amount.

DTA clients requesting verification of SSP benefits should contact DTA at 1-877-382-2363. SSP clients who do not receive other benefits from DTA should call the SSP Client Assistance Line at 1-877-863-1128.

SSP can also release client benefit amounts to authorized entities. Agencies and authorities on the Commonwealth’s approved list of entities are automatically authorized. All other housing management offices and third party vendors must first be authorized by the SSP client directly to request any information about the client’s SSP case. A Request for Access to SSP Client Record and Information form, signed by the client, must be on file in the client’s case. A vendor may then call the SSP Assistance Line to request a benefit verification letter be sent; the benefit verification letter request must be made by phone.
