What is SNAP outreach?

SNAP outreach is a joint effort between the Department of Transitional Assistance (DTA) and local agencies and community organizations. DTA has 51 SNAP outreach partners, and you can find a partner near you.

Outreach partners help clients:

  • Complete SNAP applications
  • Gather verifications
  • Understand the application process
  • Remain eligible for SNAP by assisting with the recertification process
