Description
Operate one or several types of power construction equipment, such as motor graders, bulldozers, scrapers, compressors, pumps, derricks, shovels, tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth, erect structures, or pour concrete or other hard surface pavement. May repair and maintain equipment, in addition to other duties. Alternate title: Operating Engineer.

C. Crawler and wheel-type cranes, derricks, piledrivers, and bridge and gantry cranes 1000
D. Skip and air tugger hoists, elevators, etc. 200

F. Motor crane driver 350
G. Tracked equipment 250
H. Use of grade instrument and plans 500
I. Soil solidification 250
J. Miscellaneous equipment 500
K. Auxiliary equipment 250
L. Maintenance - Cutting and burning - greases and oils 500
(Every 2,000 hours = one year) total hours: 6,000

Related technical instruction
