This series of focused conversations will be an opportunity for MassHealth to seek input on its efforts to enhance the health care experience for MassHealth members, improve health outcomes, and discuss reforms to make the MassHealth program more sustainable. We welcome all members of the public who wish to share their ideas with MassHealth and help us work through design challenges. In the spring of 2015, listening sessions were conducted on Customer Service Experience, Payment Reform, and Behavioral Health and Long Term Services and Support. Throughout the fall and winter of 2015-2016, MassHealth will continue to host public forums to outline ideas under consideration. We will share highlights of the discussions and recommendations of the work groups at these public forums.
Upcoming stakeholder sessions are listed below. Please note that these sessions are open to all members of the public.

We would like to share some updates with you.
MassHealth has developed an extended contracting timeline for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs) and reprocured Managed Care Organizations (MCOs) to allow for a March 1, 2018 operational start date for the new ACOs and MCOs. We are working now to update key dates in our timeline. Due to this change, we are postponing the MassHealth Restructuring Open Public Meeting that had been scheduled for Friday, July 28th in Boston in order to update our project plan and be able to provide more accurate information.
We will post updates on the MassHealth Innovations website (www.mass.gov/hhs/masshealth-innovations) for the Boston Open Public Meeting scheduled for July 28th and for a rescheduled Open Public Meeting in Worcester. For more information about the procurement timelines of the ACOs and MCOs, please visit COMMBUYS (www.commbuys.com).
