Order

In light of the ongoing and urgent public health concerns regarding the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, the Supreme Judicial Court, pursuant to its rulemaking authority, issues the following ORDER:

Supreme Judicial Court Rule 3:16, requiring that lawyers newly admitted to the bar of the Commonwealth complete a Practicing with Professionalism Course within eighteen months of admission, is suspended until further order of the court. Suspension of this Rule shall not affect the status of individuals who have been suspended in accordance with S.J.C.  Rule 3:16, Section 5.

This Order shall be effective on May 14, 2020, and shall remain in effect until further order of the court.
